Sustainable Futures Lab is a growing network of people from many walks of life who care about imagining and shaping more just, sustainable futures. As the lab evolves, we create open spaces for contribution, dialogue, and collaboration in ways that remain flexible and responsive.

Opportunities to Get Involved

Write for us

We invite writers to contribute short, accessible pieces to the Sustainable Futures Lab blog. Contributions can take the form of opinion pieces, reflections, provocations, or research-informed essays related to sustainable futures.

This is an opportunity to share your thinking with a wider audience, build visibility for your work, and be part of an ongoing conversation. We especially welcome graduate students and early-career researchers—but anyone with something thoughtful to say is encouraged to reach out.

A metal plaque on the ground with an engraved quote that reads, 'to all those who love to play ... and dare to dream. thank you.' The plaque is surrounded by a brick border and has a metal grate above it with small plants underneath.

We’re interested in connecting with organizations, labs, community groups, and initiatives whose work aligns with sustainable futures and systems change. Partnerships may take many forms—co-hosted events, shared projects, collaborative writing, or future initiatives that emerge through conversation.

If you’re exploring similar questions and interested in working alongside us in flexible, evolving ways, we’d love to hear from you.

Sustainable Futures Lab is building an interdisciplinary network of people interested in sustainable futures. Network members will be invited to occasional virtual gatherings, discussions, or shared updates about ongoing work.

There’s no commitment—just a shared interest in staying connected, exchanging ideas, and learning from one another over time.

Share an Idea or Explore Collaboration

Not everything starts as a project!

If you have a question, idea, or line of inquiry related to sustainable futures—or are interested in exploring potential collaboration around writing, events, research, or future initiatives—we’d love to start with a conversation and see where it leads…
